IJsselmeer, the solo tour in the Netherlands, in the largest freshwater lake in the Netherlands. This crossing, from Stavoren (Friesland) to Medemblik (North Holland), is open to many Dutch open water swimmers on their wish list. The distance is about 22 kilometers. For some also the ideal trip to prepare for a canal crossing.
